    Preview Program - Still haven't gotten message after installing/running dashboard app


    I installed and opened the Preview Program App 3 days ago and I still haven't gotten a message/console update to use the preview program. I contacted someone on the Live Chat on Xbox support and I was directed to the Preview Program forum which
    I cannot access. I know it says it takes up to 48 hours but it's been over 3 days Preview Program - Still haven't gotten message after installing/running dashboard app :(

    A friend of mine invited me to the preview program almost 2 days ago, and i still haven't gotten the message from Xbox to download the app and register my console.

    Xbox Preview Dashboard issue

    Hello, so I registered for the preview program quite a while ago, maybe around a year ago.

    Shortly after registering for the preview program I received a message on the Xbox Preview Dashboard app stating "Thanks for joining, You'll get a service message on your Xbox One soon with more info", however I never received further information on this
    and did not receive a "service message" on my Xbox so now whenever I open the app on my console I am given the same message.

    How am I able to access the features of the preview program app, I can only see this message and an exit button on the Xbox Preview Dashboard app currently and I am still on the public live dashboard version.

    Sorry you're having issues with the preview app. This is only a guess but due to E3, I'm guessing things may be a bit backed up in sending out invites. Also if you've gotten the message you may have access to the forums. Please check the link below, and
    if you can access those, repost there as you'll likely have some better feedback on this issue.

    I am not able to view/post there. I used the dashboard app to "registers" and that is the last thing that has happened.

    Hello

    An invite to the preview program never guaranteed you would be accepted, if you were accepted you should of gotten a message from Xbox live on your console saying you are able to download the Preview Program App.

    Unfortunately if you haven't been accepted there is little to no chance to get in now as they have dramatically decreased the acceptance rate of people and there is still a huge waiting list

    Hi!

    I have sent you an invite to the Preview Program. If approved, then you should get a service message from Xbox on your Xbox One console in your messages. The message will include a link to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard app. You'll need to use the app
    to register your console for Preview updates.

    To register your Xbox One console just install the Preview Dashboard and open it, you should then see a button that says "Registration". After clicking that button just wait for it to finish processing the request. After the request is submitted then it
    can take up to 48 hours for registration to be completed. Once it's been finished then your Xbox will tell you that it needs to update. Just install the update and you're a full fledged member of the Preview Program!
