Preview program purchased DLC issue might be affecting older DLC too...

I've just bought the new Xbox One S console and gone through the pain of installing Rock Band 4 and ALL of the DLC on it. That's 2114 items in total Including the game. After installing it, I tried loading the game, and it only loaded around 600 of the songs.
I've gone and checked the items in the manage game section and quite a lot of them are greyed out. I've tried reinstalling them too. I then went and checked the Xbox one store on xbox.com and they aren't even showing as "already purchased" but if I look at
my purchase history they are are there and in the Xbox 360 section they do show as purchased.

I contacted support who have said it's because of the preview build being on the old console. I expected that the songs I purchased after installing the preview build to have issues, but it seems to be affecting so much more of the content now. I've now
installed the preview program app on my new console and have registered the new console as the support guy thinks that it might make the DLC work. I didn't really want to put the new console into the preview program but if it's the only way to get my DLC working
again then I guess I have to.Hopefully it will get approved soon.

"Not allowed" halo 3 online issues

I'm not having this issue but I am having an issue where the DLC will not show up for download. I have to use the mythic disc if i want to play with the DLC. I too am in the preview program.

 

Games not starting, or even registering I bought them after opting out preview program?

The preview program states that -

"Certain content (games, apps, DLC) purchased in the new Store may only be available on console enrolled in the latest preview update. This means..."

"Games purchased on a console running the preview update can only be played on that console or other consoles running he latest preview update."

 

That is a good suggestion what support told u. You could also try to re-download your profile and see if that works. I f that doesn't work you could also try a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off and unplug
it from the outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on. It might possible fix the issue. As a last resort you could also do a factory reset on your console by going into setting, system, console and updates and select reset console. be sure to
select keep everything then your console will restart and ask you to do a quick set-up and sign in again. If this solution doesn't work then see what happens when your console gets into the preview to see if it fixes the issue like the phone support tech suggested.
