Preview program issue

I was invited to the preview program and I phoned xbox support and they said the invite had been sent but I haven't received it on my xbox.Can anyone help?

Are you a part of the preview program? Sometimes the preview version of the updates have issues.

 

Preview Program Issue

Hey I received the original message from Xbox Live to join the preview program, but I was in a hurry and just downloaded the app but didn't register. Now when I go back to the app to register, it's says the app is only available to members of the program
and the only option is to exit the app. So what happens now? I can't access it now just because I couldn't register initially?

Receiving an invite does not guarantee acceptance into the preview program. Ever since the backward compatibility announcement, there is a large volume of invite requests that have been made. All you can do is wait and see if you are accepted into the
preview program. Upon acceptance you will receive an Xbox Live message and access to the Preview Program Support forums.

 

Hi am also experiencing an issue with Xbox Preview Dashboard. I was accepted to the program about three weeks ago and right after receiving a few updates BOTH my remote controllers kept disconnecting from my console on their own. Until finally this week
NONE of them will even connect wirelessly anymore. I have spoken to many telephone reps who have taken me through about a dozen trouble shooting techniques and not one has worked and now I am being told that I will most likely just have to pay to have my console
repaired. I am extremely regretful of downloading this Preview Dashboard app I have had my xbox for a year and had no problems. Now I decide to help Windows test out its updates and my system in now pretty much useless. I would definitely appreciate some help
since I have done nothing to my console to cause this malfunction.

 

Xbox support said I should of received a message off xbox live so I was accepted. The message didn't come through

 

eliran shushan, you're going to want to create a new post in the Preview Forums, so the appropriate team can help you out. JoshManU15, as eG x Thee Elf said above, being invited doesn't guarantee acceptance into the program. There are many factors that go
into choosing candidates, and not many details of those factors are public. All you can do is wait, and if you get a message on your console, follow the instructions in it.

 

If you actually read my post I said I was ACCEPTED but I didnt receive the message from Xbox Live

KenH2k4 posted the appropriate link for you to follow. You MUST use the preview forums to have any system messages sent to you that you did not receive. He was simply following up with the not being invited doesn't promise you a spot as often that is the
case with gamers. Head over to the link he posted, and follow the sticky there. If you receive group not found reply to this thread and a mod will give you access.

 

I was invited and accepted to preview program three weeks ago. I got a message saying congratulations your accepted to preview program and we will send you more info soon. I have not received anything else no link no code I called live support they said
I am a member of preview program. Every time I clicked the preview dashboard it just gives me the same message about more info soon. Live support asked about me registering my console with the promgrt but I can't because it still says more info soon . I tried
to access the preview forums and it says group not found. Some one please help me out here something has to be wrong it doesn't take 3 weeks to get the code or download link.

Please use the link posted above and follow the directions listed. If you receive group not found please let us know. and a moderator will provide access.

P.S. Please create a new post for any issues you're facing. Moderators generally from what I've seen start at the back and move to more recent posts. So if a post keeps getting bumped it's going to take longer for them to help the people needing access.

You should now have access to the Preview Forum. When you get a chance, click on the link the EG has provided and make a post there so that the proper teams can look into the issue. Keep in mind, being invited to the Preview Program does not guarantee acceptance.
