preview program invite

i have had numerous invites to the preview program but not received one on my console, that includes from microsoft directly.

apparently, according to M/Soft my status states ' This customer has been invited to preview Xbox One updates and has accepted the program agreement. "

im not sure how that can be as i have NEVER received the invite on my console.

i have spoken to m/soft again today and was advised to post in here so that the preview program team see it.



I have been told now on numerous occasions that all is fine from microsofts side, i have removed and readded my profile to the console but no better.

i hope that some one reads this and sorts it as i am starting to get very frustrated indeed

I get 10 messages a day asking for me to invite them to the preview program. I'm sick of these messages popping up. Can you please fully delete this thread for me?

No, there is no preview program invites anymore. Also, that's early access game you can buy it without being in the preview program.

 

You're most likely in a queue. It is my understanding that the invites are sent in waves. All I can suggest is wait until your invite comes.

 

lol thats what i would have thought, been waiting 2-3 months and according to m/soft directly i should have access already

 

Considering how many people want in just to try out backwards compatibility, the system is flooded. It's possible that Microsoft isn't taking in any more testers for the time being. But it's all conjecture.

 

I got in last week took about 3-4 days to get in after invite

An invite to the program does not guarantee entrance into the program regardless of how many invites are sent.

 

If you have had any enforcement actions on your account, then I think this can also prevent you from getting added.

 

I imagine that they also want to spread out the participants, so they can get a good look at how the preview is operating in different locations and on different ISPs.

Could be that they've got everyone they need in your area.

 

Account holder must be over the age of 18 also.

being invited to the preview program does not guarantee that you will be selected to join. Please also bear in mind that they do invites in batches/waves due to volume of people trying to join.

How will you know if you are selected?

You'll get a service message from the team on your Xbox One. The message will include a link to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard app. You'll need to use the app to register your console for Preview updates.
