preview program help

it appears my xbox is part of the preview program but i dont have the preview dashboard app and now my since i got my xbox back from repair most of my games wont start.

xbox support have guided me here to try get help, as apparantly they dont deal with this issue. Need help please

Preview Program - help!

Hi all, I'm a long time reader but a first time poster!

I've just upgraded from a 360 to a XB1 and I'd really love to use the app that let's you stream from your NAS box but I'm not yet on the developer preview. Hoping someone would be so kind enough to add my gamer tag? It's nikifoster

Hey kevo,

We were not able to determine that you or your Xbox One console is in the preview program, but we're happy to help! If your games will not start, I recommend making sure the proper profile that owns the content is signed-in. If everything lives on your account
you're posting from, I recommend that you perform a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One console, selecting 'Reset and keep my & games and apps'.

Once you've tried that, post back here letting us know how it goes!

you're posting from, I recommend that you perform a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One console, selecting 'Reset and keep my & games and apps'.

Once you've tried that, post back here letting us know how it goes!

Hey there, xbox support said my console was part of the program but that console was sent for repair and now I have a replacement xbox one console.

Ok, so I performed the factory reset and games are still crashing at title screen or as they load game.

If you don't mind i'll add to this,

You mentioned the console was replaced meaning it is brand new and was never apart of the program, meaning you cannot get it back unless 1) you re-install the app via my games & apps or 2) you get another invitation.

Can you clarify can you play apps or is both games & apps crashing?

Yes replacement xbox is not part of the program and I have no option to download the app, I think I may need another invite to the program.

So far its just games that crash but I dont use many apps.

So, ive done this and still crashing? Any more ideas would be most welcome?

What you fail to realize or understand is that I've repetitively been told what I've been told by more than one customer support agent. Sorry you cannot understand that. Thanks for the responses though but I doubt the staff are so severely misinformed or
would lie about speaking directly with preview program associates or going into my account and seeing that I've been accepted and was sent the emails/messages I am missing. It's either they are deliberately lying or you guys are misinformed while my problem
continues. Again, I've been accepted so please refrain from replying to thread if all there is to be said is I've not been accepted. Ty.
