Preview program - console already registered....huh?

Hey all,

My friend invited me for the XB1 preview program, got the invite, accepted the invite and installed the app.

After installing the app I get the error message "Sorry, this console has already been registred to a different account"

Really don't get it...

We have checked my friends XB1..he has only his one registered. My XB1 was brand new.

Any ideas / suggestions?

Hello All,

I recently was invited by a friend to join the preview program. I have the preview dashboard icon downloaded but when I click on it, I get a message saying that the console has allready been registered to another account. Im pretty sure this is because
I have a used console. I contacted xbox support by phone and the told me to post here to get the console registered to my account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been a long time Xbox live user.

Group Not Found

The requested Group cannot be found.

Do you have a different link?

 

Hi Cloud,

group not found means you have not received the access to the preview forums yet.

The main support team are monitoring the forums so will be able to sort that out once they see your message. The link will then work.

Please bear in mind that after checking these posts they have to manually make changes - and there are a lot to do - so they will get to you as soon as they can!

Hello I would like to also access to this forum please, when I click on this link, it says "group not found ', my account was good for the preview, I lost the link to download the application in my inbox history.
