Preview Program App Issue

Discus and support Preview Program App Issue in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have no idea where to post this, but hopefully someone will pass it on.     Preview Program App Issue


    I have no idea where to post this, but hopefully someone will pass it on. The support chat is closed, and my only option caused me to be redirected here.

    Since the latest preview program update today, I can no longer start the Preview program app. It just says something went wrong and to report a problem. However, when I try to report a problem, it just says something went wrong and to report a problem! Kind
    of an endless loop! I have tried hard reset, reboot and all the usual things. As far as I can tell, other apps and games work fine. But there's no way for me to report any problem at all, or to start the Preview app.

    Sorry to hear it. For future reference preview issues should be posted to the preview forums.

    I had the same problem myself. I simply deleted the app and reinstalled it from the Ready to Install list.

    Many thanks for that. I will give that a try. I actually managed to find the correct forum and posted there. It was only because the support pages redirected me here automatically that I posted here.

    Xbox One won't wake up occasionally

    If your console is in the Insider Preview program, there was a mention in the "known issues", that the console sometimes fails to start up from hibernation.

    If you are in the Preview Program, and that happens, restart the console and then file feedback that you have that problem.

    If your console is not in the Preview Program, download the Xbox Insider App, and then use the app to file feedback that you also have that issue.

    I had the same problem myself. I simply deleted the app and reinstalled it from the Ready to Install list.

    Look in your 'ready to install' apps. The preview dashboard should be there. Just re-download that app, register this console and you'll get rolled back in the next time an update rolls out.

    The preview program is not only user but also console specific, unless I am mistaken. You may want to post this in the preview support forums. No one in this forum is going to be able to do anything to render your issue in the end.
