  1. PREVIEW NEW EXPERIENCE

Constant issues! No forum for help!

    Xbox constantly freezes,

Everyone it's turned on I have to re enter my wi Fi info

Party chat freezes/boots me randomly, freezes xbox and have to restart.

Pad randomly turns off, xbox freezes, have to restart

    Profile has strange looking font

Automatically/randomly takes me from appear in offline and puts me online.

    Multiple games freeze.

And just to really take the ***, if I want to go back to the old programme, you'll reset my xbox to factory default for no reason I can think of.

So, to summarise. I now have a £400 console that doesn't do what I want or what it's supposed to....

What's going to be done about this?

    :)

  3. Need Help with Opting back into the New Xbox One Experience

I opted out of the New Xbox One Experience because I had an issue with formating my external hard drive, but I noticed that it is fixed so I would like to stay enrolled in the New Xbox One Experience.

Right now it says Preview - Existing Xbox One Experience - EnrollChangePending and Action is Pending.

I will like to stay in the New Xbox One Experience Preview Program.

    Thanks

How about the preview support forum
    forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

When you signed up for the new dash you were warned that it could cause issues & that a factory reset was part of reverting back to the old dash.

A factory reset is the only way to wipe the new dash from your hard drive.

    Xbox one New Experience question

    Hi there,

by opting-in to the new experience, you will still be a part of the preview program as it is still a 'preview'. There are now two groups in the program - "existing" (as in the current experience) and "new" (which is the new preview that is slowly rolling
out to those who have opted in).

Q: I’ve opted in to the New Xbox One Experience Preview, when will I get the new update?

A: This update will roll out in waves, starting with a small number of users who have strong participation in the program, and expanding to larger numbers of users over time. Until then, your console registration will show as EnrollPending. This is normal,
and will change once you’ve been selected for the New Xbox One Experience Preview update.

Q: Who do you decide to give the Preview updates to first?

A: We are taking many things into consideration, but we are starting with a small number of users who have strong participation in the program, and expanding to larger numbers of users over time.

Q: Can I opt-out of the New Xbox One Experience Preview?

A: Yes. During the Preview period, there are two ways you can opt-out of receiving New Xbox One Experience Preview updates.

    1. Prior to receiving the New Xbox One Experience Update Preview, take no action – we’ll default you to remaining on the Existing Xbox One Experience preview. You’ll still get the benefits of Preview, like Backward Compatibility, but you’ll stay on the current
Xbox One update that’s available to the public. Later, just before the general release of the New Xbox One Experience, we’ll update your console to the latest Preview build, so you’ll still get it a little early.
    2. In the Registration area of the Xbox Preview Dashboard, you can choose Remove to remove your console from the program entirely. Your console’s removal will be processed within 72 hours.

NOTE: If you choose this option after taking the New Xbox One Experience Preview update, your console will go back to the current general release of the Xbox One software, but this will restore factory defaults on your console, and erase all
locally stored accounts, apps, games, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. We encourage all users to download/copy your favorite games to External Hard disks to ensure a quick recovery option in the event of data loss from a removal.

    New Dashboard Issues (Preview)

The preview FAQ explains this best:

Q: Can I opt-out of the New Xbox One Experience Preview?

In the Registration area of the Xbox Preview Dashboard, you can choose Remove to remove your console from the program entirely. Your console’s removal will be processed within 72 hours.

If you'd like to remain a part of the Preview program and return to the original Xbox One experience, open the Registration area of the Xbox Preview Dashboard, select 'Change' and then select 'Preview - Original Xbox One Experience'. Like the Remove option
above, your console will take a factory reset as part of this change.

NOTE: If you choose this option after taking the New Xbox One Experience Preview update, your console will go back to the current general release of the Xbox One software, but this will restore factory defaults on your console, and erase all locally stored
accounts, apps, games, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. We encourage all users to download/copy your favorite games to External Hard disks to ensure a quick recovery option in the event of data loss from a removal.

Cannot access the Preview forum even though I've been a Preview member for a while.

Are you part of the recent enrolment to the new Preview Program experience or are you still with the older version? Go into your Preview Program app on the Xbox and go to registration to see which you are, the forums may be open to people who are part of
the new experience. I am not 100% on this but it is worth a look

    XB1 Preview Program Dis-enrollment Bug

    @Whopperstomper2 hey hey

It's not a bug, but a normal behavior, that noted in FAQ for NXOE program.
