Preview game licensing issue

That would be an option but a logistical nightmare I would guess, the flood gates would open and everyone who shares this issue would be hammering at the doors requesting the same thing. I don't see it being so long before the update goes public to be honest.

On a personal level I am sorry this has been such a major issue for you but there's nothing that can be done.

With regards to the support reps not being fully aware of exactly what issues the preview can and does cause perhaps that's something that the guys over on support and the preview team need to work on, there does at times seem to be a lack of communication
between certain areas of the Xbox support system that could be improved upon.

 

Having looked back through this thread are we barking up the wrong tree here ? You say you may as well quit the preview, does that mean that the Xbox you are having the issue with is a part of the preview ?

If that's the case and you run the preview dashboard app, select the Registration option, is the Xbox enrolled into the Latest preview update or a previous preview? It may be as simple as enrolling for the latest preview, that will take a day or two to go
through but will then enable those games to be playable.

 

I get that a lot of people would be wanting the same solution. Almost like actions have consequences. When you screw up, you pay for it. Unless you are microsoft. Then you just tell customers they can play the games you paid for, at an undisclosed date.
But don't worry, it shouldn't be too long. As to enrolling the second xbox to preview, after seeing how the preview system works, I'll pass. It would also take 2 days, and there has not been any xbox employee who can even tell me if it would work. On top of
all this, I cant even get an iota of help from xbox on why I cant post anything on the preview forum. 2 different reps have failed to call back or respond to email after assuring me they would check back with me. This hasn't just been one issue. It's a series
of mistakes by xbox that all go back to a lack of communication and follow through.

 

I appreciate all the attempted help from other gamers!!!!! I just wish the now 4 support reps I have talked to were as informed or cared as much as you guys.

 

Just got an email trying to help me with the preview forum. Unfortunately they require me to use twitter to get support from xbox. Huh? Don't have a twitter account and don't want one. So far I have been told I must post on an open forum, and now tweet to
get help. Maybe next they will send me to yelp!!

Having the same issue as west camp.. very displeased with not being able to play games I spent 90 plus dollars on because I spent 300 plus dollars on a new Xbox one 1tb..
