Pretty sure it's closed. I've been looking for an invite and that's the response I've gotten.

 

It's not closed,it's just full at the moment which is why they are not accepting any new applications.

Besides,there;s more to being in the preview program than backwards compatibility.

If that's all you want then you've only got about a month to wait until it's released to everyone.

 

9 days till November. Not saying backward compatibility is turned on first of November either though. But its close. I been waiting for this since its been announced early part of the year.

 

Not 100% sure but it could be 22nd November.

 

I hope its not 22 of November. That's 22 days scratched off and more time to wait. Bad enough we didn't hear the list yet. Phil has it so secretive. Yet its not like we get them games free. We still have to own them. Plus rest of the community getting
the new dashboard probably would mean 22 of November for them as well. Cause if they get the dashboard first and no backward compatibility community will be ticked off.

 

Speaking as a preview member and someone whos played the backwards compatibility games, its very underwelming. The thought is great but the execution seems lack luster. Unless they decide to release lots more games for back comp when it goes full launch
its gonna be a disaster.

 

Should be 100+ games when it launches for everyone.

 

They said 100 games in November. But is that 100 besides the 24 we have now? Or 76 added to the 24 we have now to equal out 100? Guess it doesn't matter. Anything better then what we already have. Also that email said 100 more down the road. So very
well could have 200 games list before next year.
