Preview Atmos

I just bought an Xbox One S, and wanted to preview the Xbox Atmos support that is being issued out to some Preview Program members. However, it looks like you have to be chosen. I have a new system setup for Dolby Atmos, and wanted to opt in to preview
the firmware update. Since I have a new system, I don't have much "reward points" or experience in the program. Is there a way to let the Xbox developers know that I have a Dolby Atmos system and willing to provide feedback for that particular preview? I'm
assuming many don't have Atmos systems yet and they would welcome as much feedback as possible.

And I may be in the completely wrong section of forums. First time poster.

Dolby Atmos logo not appearing (and not working) in Netlfix on One S

I have:

- Xbox One S (in alpha preview) with original HDMI cable

- Onkyo TX-NR676 AV Receiver with Dolby Atmos, current firmware, 5.1.2 speakers

- Dolby Atmos app installed on Xbox One S working properly

- Netlfix app installed on Xbox One S working properly (except for Atmos)

- All speakers are working fine

Dolby Atmos is working fine with the Xbox One S blu-ray app. Actually not really completely fine....After you stop playing a blu-ray, there is a complete loss of sound in other apps for awhile (the Xbox dashboard sounds work fine). But whatever,
at least while the blu-ray is playing with an Atmos title, the ceiling speakers work, sound comes out of them and Atmos is displayed on the receiver. It works.

Dobly Atmos will not work whatsoever in Netflix. I have uninstalled Neflix, reinstalled, restarted, hard-restart, reset. Nothing doing. No Dolby Atmos logo will appear for any Netflix title for which it is supposed to appear...just 5.1, that's it...

There are no known issues with Atmos in the alpha preview.

 

You would need to have someone who is already a preview member invite you to the program. There is no guarantee you will be accepted.

 

What if you used to be in the preview program, left it about a year ago. And want to rejoin to test the atmos support testing?

 

You would have to have someone invite you again.

 

Have you looked in your "Ready to install" list for the preview app?

I guess there really isn't a way for the Xbox to send my info that I have Atmos capability to the developers. I guess I'll have to wait for the new year for when it is released for the masses. Thanks for the responses.
