    Hey, I'm currently in the alpha ring and would like to switch to the beta ring, can someone tell me how this works? I have only the possibility to change into the Alpha Ring 4!

    Preview Ring 4, saying Preview Alpha:Time to Update

    Hey, I'm in Preview Ring 4 of the Xbox Insider Program, but my announcements page says "Preview Alpha: Time to update". Is this an issue or am I now in Preview Alpha ring? Thanks!

    Hello TerrorAngel88 if you follow these steps you can change your insider enrollment program type by:

    going to the insider hub

    On the main screen beside your name and level you see "announcements" under that you will see a blue pin saying "this console is in preview (your preview mode)" click A on that

    Now click on manage and select the desired subscription.

    Note: you will have to wait for the change to go through (just like when you subscribed to alpha)

    My understanding is you also have to currently be in the Beta preview ring to be considered for an invite to the Alpha preview ring.

    new update - no party notifications

    This has supposedly been fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff, in an update that's available for people in the preview program (alpha ring) now.

    So, if you're in the alpha ring, check for updates and you should see it there ready to install.

    If you're not in the alpha ring, or you're not in the preview program at all, I expect they'll roll out an update with a bunch of fixes in it to the public fairly soon.
