Preview Alpha Ring Display Issues

After the most recent Preview Alpha Ring update, I've noticed that the "HDR" box that normally pops up when I launch games has disappeared. Also, when I used to launch a game it would automatically change my TV to "Game Mode" which also improved the visuals
and decrease lag time for most games. I'm not seeing the notification for that anymore either. Has anyone else noticed and display issues after the most recent update?

You should report those issues that that group using their direct reporting process.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this issue. For more direct help with the error you're experiencing as an Xbox Insider participating in the Preview Program, we recommend that you report the issue via the Insider's Hub so that the data
goes directly to the engineers (If unable to report via the console, you may do so from your PC as well).

You may also wish to reach out via the
Xbox Insiders subreddit page as they may be able to assist you more directly. Typically, any of the standard troubleshooting available would not work correctly as you're using a different build on the console, so this is the absolute best way to resolve
your issue and to help out with fixing any bugs that may have occurred.

This has been a known issue for a while now and acknowledged by the Xbox Preview team and were testing a fix for this issue in the Alpha ring back in December. Since then, there has been no updates but based on this

article I'm assuming the issue was resolved in the Alpha ring preview update but doesn't seem to have gone live yet. There could have been some setbacks or the issue re-surfaced.

This was being tested in the Alpha ring, which is the first ring to test preview updates and requires an invitation to join, and has preview updates with the potential to have the most bugs so it's possible it's stalled in the Alpha ring.

My suggestion is to report the issue through the Xbox Insider Hub app, which you can do so by the report a problem option in the power menu after you have the app downloaded.

If you join the Insider program, eventually it should get pushed to the other preview rings and you can get the fix in an upcoming preview update before it would go live.

Hello!

My understanding is you also have to currently be in the Beta preview ring to be considered for an invite to the Alpha preview ring.
