    Pretty upset with customer support right now


    I purchased a $15 microsoft gift card. Installed it on my Xbox with the intentions of adding to my $11 dollar balance so that i could make a $25 dollar purchase. Entered the code, redeemed it and it says i have a $15 balance. I was logged in under my son's
    account! Now customer support tells me they don't have access to transfer funds from one account to another, even though both of them are currently signed in from the same machine, both are registered to MY email addresses, and the card was redeemed within
    the last hour without any of it being spent. I ask who I can speak to that would have access to make these kinds of things happen, and i'm told that there isn't anybody. Now my only option is to spend another $15 to make my purchase, and am stuck with $15
    on an account that has never bought anything and was never intended to in the first place.

    save my coins up all week so i can buy a ton of gold premium packs for week6 fantasy turn my xbox on theres no fantasy and 2 college collections where is the week6 fantasy packs at????

  5. If they can't do this then that is pretty pathtic... Xbox Support truly is turning into something fishy. I'm personally considering getting a PS4 myself as I cannot get help with my issues at all either.

    If they can't do this then that is pretty pathtic... Xbox Support truly is turning into something fishy. I'm personally considering getting a PS4 myself as I cannot get help with my issues at all either.

    Unfortunately I think the Customer Support representatives don't have the authority to give DLC for games even though it could speed up your issue with the packaging.

    Sorry to hear you have been having issues with Xbox One, hopefully your new replacement will work when you get it back.

    As of right now it is gone, but I've seen it come and go periodically anyways.

    Also it shouldn't be shocking to hear of support dealing with more than one customer at a time, it's pretty common practice for all businesses that deploy a chat styled support option.

    Thank you, Jameser78, for the explanation. I love to see a community in which the members try to help out.

    However...

    I *did* fully describe the situation when I posted.. including the conciusion reached by phone support of what was the issue, and their instructions that I post on the forums for more assistance.

    When directed by phone support to post on the forums for additional help, it should not be unreasonable for me to expect that someone there can actually *do* something about the issue.

    When the responder has "Official Support" on his/her gamertag, I think I can reasonably expect to be dealing with a paid staffer, and not a volunteer. If that's something I would have to have been around on the forums to know, then that's not setting expectations
    well at the phone support end.

    All that being said, the *refusal* of phone support to escalate my issue when requested to do so, and their insistance that I had to post here for any hope of action, is poor support. That is especially true if the forum is mostly volunteers, as the nature
    of the issue isn't something that non-employees can help with. If I can't get help here, in essence, that reply from phone support amounts to "take a long walk off a short pier".
