Prestige

so, I got 3 prestige tokens. I was 10th prestige in COD4, didn't prestige in WaW, 5th prestige in MW2, third prestige in Black Ops. So that's 18 prestige's for 3 tokens, so is that how it's supposed to be? For me, it's ever 6 prestiges you get 1 token.

Yup, Prestige shop is part of the game! It has nothing to do with Elite. Everytime you prestige you will earn a prestige point that you can then spend in the prestige shop.

You don't lose weapon progress when you enter prestige mode, so there is no reason to let that stop you from prestiging a weapon.



The benefits to prestiging a weapon:

(1) More XP for unlocking the attachments.

(2) Clan tag on weapon at prestige 1.

(3) Emblem on weapon at prestige 2.

(4) Calling card at MAX of prestige 2.



The only thing you lose are attachments, so there really is no reason not to prestige a weapon.

I stopped at prestige 14 in BO1, but I think my son recently prestiged it to 15. Did 20 prestiges in MW3, LOL. BFs will add prestiges before long, LOL.

I thought you only entered prestige mode once to get up to lvl 10 prestige
