    Pressing my home button makes some games stop working


    when playing a game if I press the home button the game stops taking any input. It doesn't freeze though the game is still moving and making sound all the buttons just stop working. So far this has only happened to me on Moonlighter and xcom 2. This didn't
    start happening until a couple days ago. I've tried restarting the game, restarting my xbox, and even reinstalling the game, but nothing works. I can play Moonlighter just fine until I press the home button but it's really annoying because I was trying to
    achievement hunt the game. Xcom 2 on the other hand I cannot play because it does the thing where it asks you who is signed in and after I click on my profile then the glitch happens and I can't even start the game. I really need help with this.

    You can also try checking to make sure your controller does not need an update.

    Also re-connect the controller to the Xbox.

    1. Go to Settings > Devices & accessories. ...
    2. Then select Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable, and the screen will show the Updating controller
