    Press X to record


    When I push X to record, it pops up "recorded clip" i n like a second, it doesn't actually give time to record and stop recording. It stops automatically when I push X to record.

    How do I fix that without kinect cause I wanna record video.

    I'm new to Xbox one

    Yeah, double-tap your home button and Press X to record that, or Press Y to screenshot that.

    Can't record Xbox one game DVR clips

    Hello,

    Since the new Xbox one system came out I'm not able to record the last 30 seconds. When I press the Xbox button 2 times I should be able to press "Y" or "X" Y= to make a screenshot X= to record the last 30 seconds. But when I do that now it isn't there I
    don't have a option to press "Y" or "X" . Can you guys fix this?

    Press X to record

    The recording captures the last 30ish seconds when you press it, so it sounds like it's working right.

    The DVR is basically always recording. If you snap the DVR app, you can do the option to start and stop up to 5 minutes.

    The X button just quick grabs the last 30 seconds.

    Hopefully this helps as I see this post is from well over a month ago.

    By default, it records that last 30 seconds when you use the Kinect ("Xbox record that") or use the X button on your controller. However, you can adjust how much gameplay time is captured in settings on your console.

    Hi there.

    I did some reading on this.

    You need to press X to begin recording, then X again to end the recording.

    You can then view it from elsewhere in the game under an option called 'Review Recordings.'

    I hope this helps.
