Prepping Xbox 360 before selling

I'm going to sell my Xbox 360 myself when I get the Xbox One. I understand I need to remove everything from the hard drive. Are there things I need or should save to the cloud that I can use on the Xbox One?

couple of questons about selling xbox360 and switching to xbox one.

I'm selling my xbox 360 a week before I'm getting my xbox one.What do I need to do about my account? Is it connected to that particuler 360 console and what do I need to do before I sell that 360 console to someone I don't know? I want to keep my account
and just switch it to the xbox one I'm getting,but I'm confused about how selling my 360 a week before I get my xbox one is going to dictate what I need to do to keep my original account.Could someone tell me what I need to do and what order I need to do
it.Again,I want to take my account off of the 360 I'm selling and move it to a xbox one that I am buying.The monkey wrench in that simple process is that I am selling the xbox 360 a week before a get my new xbox one.Thanks

All of your account info is saved on the Xbox servers. So you won't need to back those up. The cloud will only hold game saves, so you can save them there if you ever plan on using a 360 again, but they won't work on the One.

In addition to what Smwutches said - formatting your hard drive will return your Xbox 360 to factory

Factory settings would be basically formatting your XBOX 360's hard drive.

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Select the storage device that you want to rename, and then press Y on your controller.

Select Format. You will see the following message:

This will delete all content on this device. Do you wish to continue?

Select Yes to format the storage device.

If you are asked to enter your console serial number, do so, and then select Done. This step helps to guard against accidental formatting.

The console serial number is located on the back of the console and behind the oval door on the front of the console.

It's profitable and a good way to connect to the community. Also, why make a new Xbox boss and prep an E3 briefing, then sell out to Sony?
