Preparing Console, Green Screen Loading Errors

Hello,

During the initial setup of my xbox one s console, while updating it didn't respond for a while. I did a restart and it kept stucking at the green loading screen forever.

I tried to do system rest and offload update using the details from Xbox One System Updates | Offline System Updates. It is still getting stuck at
"Preparing Console" screen.

Let me know if anyone got into similar situations and able to fix.

Newest update stuck at around 70% install?

Mine has also done that. Exactly the same symptoms this morning. Seemed to be stuck around 70% preparing console. After a reboot, stuck on green screen for longer than 10 mins.I'm downloading the offline system diagnostic tool

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool but whilst waiting I totally powered off the Xbox and unplugged everything (including network cable) except for HDMI and powered it back up. I've now got it back after about 5 mins on the green
screen but am getting installation stopped 0x87e00005 errors every few minutes now.

 

Green Screen o' Death!

When my Xbox One starts up it only gets to the green loading screen. I've hard reset MANY times. Unplugged from power. Let it sit on the screen for hours. It never goes past the green screen.

I understand the best fix for this is to reset to factory default settings using a flash drive. I had this same issue a month ago and successfully reset to defaults. Now however I cant get my Xbox to accept the reset. When I go through the steps of holding
the bind + eject buttons then powering on, I only get one "power on" melody instead of two. After sitting on the "preparing console" screen for a couple minutes with no progress on the loading bar it goes to an error screen
'E101 00000503 8007045D'.

Any other suggestions?
