Preparing console... *FREEZES DURING UPDATE*

I have been sent here by the xbox customer support to post my problem. What do I do? Sincerely hope this is fixable.

Xbox One Reset will freeze at 50%

Had an issue during the last system update and the console froze during the update. After that the console wont start. I have tried all the different resets, including factory reset, but once the process goes to the preparing console step, the progress will
go up to 50% and then freeze again.

 

I keep getting error code e105. I’ll reset my xbox and It will just freeze during preparing console

if It does not freeze during the preparing console It will freeze when I’m setting It up and It gets to the update part then It will tell me to reset it again and it’s just constant loop hole.

 

I got the feeling that this had to do with me being a 'preview' member.

 

I have been told to wait for your response and not do anything with my Xbox, thus I'll be eagerly awaiting your instructions.

 

Hey there! To minimize confusion because troubleshooting may be different for preview updates than regular versions, you'll want to post this, and everything else preview related in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx).
This will also ensure that the proper team sees your post and can help you out. Also, make sure you look at the list of known issues to see if there is a workaround.

Most of the time, you can fix this by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it powers off and unplugging the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. If that doesn't work, you'll want to create a post in the preview forums and list
any troubleshooting you've tried.

 

Same issue here the progress bar probably about 85% along on the Preparing console screen. Also a preview member.

 

Yup, now the machine is useless.

Well, I rebooted my Xbox as I had to go out, now I'm stuck on the green Xbox one screen. Way to go MS,

Okay, I left it in the green screen while I went on the PC. After about 10 minutes it eventually fired up. However, I think the new (I presume Windows 10) update is the worst front end that MS has ever put on the Xbox. WTF MS?

 

Needing help stuck at green screen. Any fixes yet for this

 

Same for me mine had been stuck on about 80% for about 4hours so i rebooted and now i have pretty green screen to look at might be time buy a PS4

 

If you're stuck in the green screen, after rebooting from a stuck preview update, try a cold reboot. Press the Xbox logo, so the Xbox switches off, then switch off power supply. Leave it for a few minutes, then start it up. It worked for me, but stayed on
the green screen for about 10 minutes before finally starting proper. Hope that helps.
