Do you know Digital Foundry? They are the ones who made a video showing the fps throughout the tutorial and some parts of High Wall. It shows the difference. It's not just people thinking there is a difference.

Ninja Gaiden 2 - Way of the Master Ninja (Beat the game on Path of the Master Ninja. Seriously, this game is just plain mean on Normal alone.)

CoD 4: Modern Warfare - Mile High Club (Beat the epilogue mission on Veteran. A lot of people know this one, you have 60 seconds to rush through a gauntlet of death.)

Yeah I saw all the videos and have seen both running, I'll still get English version on xb1. I like both consoles though bought the J version on PS given that I wanted a bigger population in the Japanese servers. I really think it's about 2 fps difference,
no biggie.

 

Finished the game today.

Amazing. What a great game.

Torn between trying a different build vs New Game Plus.

I can do both so will probably try both.

 

The framerate drops are really noticeable during the Pontiff fight, especially the second phase. Argh, I need to upgrade my PC asap so I can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be I almost have all the rings so 100% completion here I come. Just need
a few more rings, not looking forward to the one after NK in NG++...

Would have started a new character or game tonight but instead spent all my time going mental over my missing Undead Boneshard.

It was that sneaky one in the Catacombs where you have to kill a certain character to stop yourself having an "Indiana Jones" moment.

Awesome game.

 

Az, you have to do NG+ and NG++ to get 1000GS/Plat, That's of course only if you're interested. It's the rings that change each time that's important and there's 3 different endings. Of course you could just trade but that kind of defeats the purpose of
the game. I've only just made it to Archdragon Peak myself since I've kind of speed run the rest up to now. It is an amazing game which I'll no doubt play through a few times.

 

Will definately be doing the NG+ and ++.

Apparently you can take it to NG+10 before the enemies stop growing in strength as you raise it.

I still can't believe I've played a Souls game all the way through after barely denting the first 2.

 

So I'm running around in an area and I spot one of the usual message signs to read in front of a spot on a wall so... I read it and sure enough it says the usual "ILLUSIONARY WALL HUH?"
kind of message so... I hit it with my weapon and nothing happened so... I think it's just another troll message when I decide to try to walk through it. Not only do I walk through it, but once I get on the other side it's pretty obvious that it's some sort
of glitch. Most of the stuff on the other side of the wall is unfinished. See through floors, etc. I turned around fairly quickly but was kinda curious how many enemies I could avoid going that way.
Anyways, has anyone else ran across any messages that took them to somewhere like that?

 

Man, if only it was my TV but it's not. It really is not. I've seen the drops on other people's streams as well on One. The evidence is out there, videos showing the actual framerate, it's up to you to believe it or not but I don't see what you'd gain from
denying it when you're not paid to do so. For the most part it's smooth but when things really start going on in the game, such as the Pontiff copy showing up, there's a noticeable drop. And Lothric Castle has bigger issues on both systems. Considering the
fact that this game doesn't even go above 30 fps to begin with, drops don't even have to be big to be easily seen. It's kinda ironic how the PS3 version of the first game had the most issues and now the tables have been turned - unless the rumors are true
and the latest patch made the game run worse on PS4 at least in some parts... (Now what's more interesting is that while watching videos related to the issue, I stumbled upon one comparing the fps in SOTFS and seems like One struggled more with that game
as well. Perhaps From just isn't good at optimizing the games for the system?)

 

Hey Goth, I've had a buddy fall through the floor a couple of times.

He wasn't rewarded with unfinished scenery... only death.

Sipuili, sorry to hear you're having a poor experience.

My game isn't perfect. There have been at least 2 occasions where I've noticed my flowing robes slightly stutter as I was trotting along.

Certainly not chugging like yours though.

Hats off for finishing a run through on DS3. To me DS3 is all of the good parts of Demon's, you could easily think you're at the foot of Boletarian palace, you have hub to do most of your trading in and your sorcery or miracles aren't limited to the amount
of times you use them, except the estus flask makes up for herbs when it comes to magic. Out of all the souls games this one is closest to Demons imo and I love that game.

Hey goth, that wouldn't be in the swamp area? Because I read a sign there and couldn't smash the wall, same as part of the Archdragon area.
