    PrePaid Gift Card Redeemed but no value given


    I entered a prepaid gift card tonight on my xbox one and it took the code and then said error on our side, try again.

    I tried again and it said it had already been redeemed, but I was not given credit for the $25 gift card code entered.

    What do I need to do to get my credit in my account.

    Limits on use

    It's not possible to make a purchase using gamerscore. Gamerscore has no monetary value. You would need to either use a credit card/Paypal or purchase a prepaid Xbox gift card to add money to your account.

    Hi there,

    be sure to check Sign in to your Microsoft account and double check if the currency value is showing there, if it is showing then be sure to check for what region it is, since the
    Xbox One console needs to be connected to that same region.

    If that is the case you should be able to use the currency for purchases on the Xbox Store via the console.

    Keep in mind that a currency value on your account can't be used to purchase Xbox 360 content, that requires a payment option unless the purchase is done on a Xbox 360 console.

    If all is correct but it still isn't showing then you will have to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at

    redeem the prepaid code     to a Microsoft account in order to use the currency on

    Hi Conor! This is possible. You can redeem an Xbox Gift Card, and then use that gift card's value to purchase V-Bucks in-game.
