Prepaid code isn't working

1. to redeem a code on either the console or on the pc, follow the steps on this link:

support.xbox.com/.../redeem-prepaid-codes

If the code isn't working, be sure to check if the code that was bought was for the country your account is connected to.. If all is fine but the code still isn't working you might have to contact the store you bought it from.

2. The Marketplace is available via Browse games and Browse apps etc on the xbox dashboard. It should automatically be available as long as your console is connected to the internet and your account is connected as well.

http://marketplace.xbox.com to view it, but should show the same content as via the xbox console

3. No, you don't have to add your card details if you use a prepaid code, for either microsoft points or xbox live gold subscription.

If you want to buy games etc via xbox live etc, then you will likely need to add a payment option to be able to pay for the games.

With prepaid codes the region of the account must match the region. Of the code so if you have a us or non cannafa account it won't work

Do you mean a prepaid Visa/MasterCard? If so, that's why it isn't working. Prepaid credit / debit cards don't work because the billing information on the cards do not match your information.
