    I just redeemed a prepaid code of 50€ which i bought in Belgium (physical region/account region)

    when trying to buy the digital copy of destiny The Taken King it says my saldo is 0,01€

    when going to my recent purchases it says i redeemed the code for 50€ but it says in the netherlands.

    I don't have anything to do with the netherlands.

    I am not able to use the 50€ now.

    what can there be done about this?

    Not working Xbox Live Gold membership for 1 month

    Prepaid codes are region locked so the code could only be used for the country it was made for. Since Latvija is not a supported country, it would not work there.

    I've had a similar issue in the past and had to call support to request a refund, as long as you still have the card or receipt they should be able to see what went wrong.

    Alternatively you could purchase the taken king from the Dutch Xbox Marketplace by changing your website region (NOT ACCOUNT REGION) to the Netherlands and after the purchase is made just switch it back to Belgium.

    I suggest first calling Xbox Support to see if they can do anything about it

    changing region

    are you sure they were prepaid NZ ms points some countrys do carry multi national points you need to take that up with the vender

    (usually unsupported countries do that)

    because prepaid MS points are region locked ALL OF THEM

    and they cannot be redeemed in the wrong region accounts there is no IFs about it

    redeeming a wrong region ms points in the incorrect region is a INVALID code error

    you can purchase australian ms points online on your xbox with your australian account with an australian creditcard but you cannot buy prepaid nz ms points cards and put them on a australian account that comes back with invalid code error

    (lower right corner will state the region)



    nz ms points can be purchased as a prepaid card or on a nz account
