    Durning the 3 hour long chat with Support, I was given a link to post here and was told that the Enforcement Team would private message me ASAP and were best to be able to fulfill the promise that I would be given a download voucher Ryse and 2 months of
    Live Gold.

    This seems like a joke!

    Will someone please look at the notes and see about helping?

    You can not buy gold time with a marketplace card.

    The card you have bought is for games,DLC, etc off the marketplace.

    Different cards are available to for gold time.

    Also, reference numbers are only used by phone and chat support and should not be posted on the forums.

    If the code is coming up as not valid there are two reasons for this.

    1. Your gamertag is not set to the same country that the code was purchased in. Gold codes are region locked and can only be used if the gamertag matches the country.

    2. The store did not properly activate the card. Calling the store is not a good way to check this. You must bring the code back to them to have them scan it again.

    If you call customer support hopefully they will be able to track the code and hopefully tell you what's wrong with it. But Have you tried redeeming the code on both the xbox and the website ? :) some times is easier to input the code on the website. Also
    make sure there is no outstanding ballances on your account, like for example if you have ever paid of xbox live with a credit card and maybe forgotten to cancel it.
