Prepaid code accepted but no subscription added

Hi, i am trying to get support 2 days already.

I purchased prepaid code for 13 monthes LIVE GOLD. I opened xbox,com->Redeem code->Redeem

Code was successfully accepted and showed message: 13 monthes GOLD subscription.

After i pressed green Close button I checked my subscriptions - and its empty. Nothing added. And offcourse the code doesn work anymore.

Yesterday i contacted chat support 4 times. They saying the code is still valid and it should work but it doesnt.

The last support girl gave me the "escalated" case number <mod removed>

Please help me add this subscription.

Yeah it's legit. Though more and more companies are starting to accept them. Should be able to buy a pre-paid subscription card from a store and use it though, that won't require a credit/debit card on file.

Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.

 

well, if it already is send to their advocacy team, then there is not much any user could do other than wait for the response

 

Same here. I redeemed a 14-day trial xbox live code (the one I got with my day one edition). The code was accepted, but nowhere to find in my subscriptions. Hence my FUT15 online experience doesn't work.

 

Well your issue is completely different

With 14day trials you don't change your status to gold

You only get temporary access to nonranked matches usually only for the game you purchased it with

If you are trying to use it with destiny its a no as destiny is all ranked and you need a paid subscription for it

 

All you have to do is check your subscription usually will say free trial

Then check non rankedmatches

 

Infact - my problem stil NOT SOLVED. $100 goes to trash. Great support!
