Prepaid cards and gamertag troubles

I already used my one free gamertag change so I went to buy a prepaid card to change it. I have $15 on my account but it doesn't prompt me to pay using my account, it just wants billing information. Do I need to fill it out because I don't feel comfortable
doing so with the recent hacks.

Prepaid card trouble!

Hello, about two months ago I bought a $15 prepaid card from the U.S.A.. When I get home to Canada, I go to my xbox one and I entered the code. It doesn't match my region!

It says if you moved (which i didn't) please change your country in settings.

I do that, just to see, my money wasn't there! So I enter it again as the country is set to United States... It says this code has already been used.

I switch my country in settings back to Canada and try entering again it says it has been used already.

Im so confused, if anyone could help me with this, it would be appreciated!

Is it one of those prepaid credit cards? Or one of those gaming cards?

Prepaid credit card is a huge gamble an rarely are worth the trouble it's 80% most likely to fail

Gaming cards aren't supported if they offer xbox points etc they usually have their own website

The Xbox Live servers were not "hacked". They were attacked with a DDoS which stands for distribution denial of service. In a brief explanation, the servers were just overwhelmed with false IPs to clog and bring down the Live servers making it difficult
for users to connect or stay connected. Your info will not be compromised. I have my card on my account and I'm not one bit worried.

Sorry for your issue. Check that you entered a valid billing adress at your prepaid credit card. If this is the case and it still not works out you could buy a Microsoft prepaid card on online vendors and use them to get the game you want. There could
be trouble on online services when using a prepaid credit card.

Did you change your Gamertag to KoBK FROSTIE, when you used the Prepaid XBL Gold Subscription card or is it the same Gamertag as before..??

Thx collin for the link, it's seem it's working now so I will give it a try via support service. Smwutches, the card is for microsoft points and yea my account is set on the same area. And yesterday I had an issue with that. I couldnt see those drop down
menus. Modes, I tried that way too and it give me the same answer. That's when it does not give me an issue about not being able to recognise the computer. Onyx, no I didnt had that kind of message, just the one saying the code was invalid.
