    If you preorder a game on xbox live, do you get the 10000 xbox live points or 15000 xbox live points, or do you actually have to go to Microsoft.com and order there?

    Also, this is in a Q&A from Activision on their COD site somewhere.

    However, this still doesn't explain how to go about preordering a digital version of COD via Xbox One so as to get the Free Map. I presume Xbox Live through 360 dashboard, or Xbox.com will eventually open up preorders for these games digitally. Perhaps
    when the new Xbox Live update occures with the Xbox points being converted to currency???

    Anyone seen any updates as to preordering digital versions of Xbox One games?

    You have to preorder from microsoftstore.com Digital orders do not qualify.

    If you preordered prior to June 9, 2017:

    Early access to the Product Beta will be automatically granted to the Xbox Live account used to preorder. Once the early access period begins, on your Xbox One, go to “My Games and Apps,” “Ready to Install,” and download the Product Beta. Access to Yoda
    Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card will be granted to the gamertag used to preorder upon full game launch.

    If you preorder on or after June 9, 2017:
