Preordered The Division but never got the $10 credit

So just last night I preordered the division on my Xbox and there is the $10 credit for preordering a game promotion but I never got the credit. I have preordered fallout 4 in the past when this promotion was going on and the $10 credit was instantly streamed
into my account. I preordered the division and the same promotion is still going on but there is nothing in my account. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you

$10 Xbox credit for pre-ordering games - Did not receive

I pre-ordered The Division after seeing an advertisement online for a $10 credit if preordered through microsoft store, but I did not receive my credit.

 

I never received the promotional $10 credit when buying the Division.

Usually with dashboard promos the turn around time is 4 weeks. I haven't seen anything for preordering that game digitally, but there is a promo to get $10 for preordering from microsoftstore.com

 

Isn't the Xbox store directly linked with the Microsoft store though? I'm pretty sure they don't run on two different parties

 

No. The Microsoft Store is Microsoft's retail store. The Xbox store is their digital store. They are considered separate.

 

You would get the game physically from Ms store

What is bought from Ms store is different

Xbox store would download the game and then activate when 12am gmt hits
