Preordered Sunset Bundle & it shipped (Missed Nov 2nd $50 off deal?) =[

Whoever was thinking of this new $50 off holiday special really didnt think it through. I found out after my xbox one sunset bundle already shipped that the same bundle would be $50 dollars cheaper.

I really do not think this is good marketing or fair. I cant cancel my order and i really wanted the system on release. Really wish there was a way i could get something out of this annoying issue. Sorry to come off as being annoyed but it would have been
nice to know before my order shipped. Why not talk about this deal days before the white xbox come out so i dont get billed and so i would have more options?

Xbox One $50 off Promotion

I preordered the Sunset Overdrive Xbox One bundle through the Microsoft store and it was shipped this morning. Today Microsoft announced that starting next week the bundles will be $50 cheaper. I was wondering if there was any way to carry that over to customers
who have preordered their consoles (specifically the Sunset Overdrive bundle which doesn't come out until tomorrow)? I'm sure it's just an oversight, but offering a product significantly cheaper less than one week after it was released kind of seems to screw
over the customers who have shown their loyalty by preordering. Thanks in advance for the help!

I made a thread on here complaining about the issue of people who bought the sunset bundle yesterday missed out on the new xbox holiday special. Well amazon has begun emailing people that had the xbox one sunset bundle preordered or bought right before
the promotion.

This is great news. I would have rather settled for free xbox live but this makes me feel better. I actually feel like i got my $50 refund. Thank you amazon and microsoft.

 

Because its meant for the holidays. November 2nd and after. You could have waited longer because there can always be price drops when you least expect it.

I have been waiting. I had this bundle preordered since the 1st and they made it under the impression that it was a limited offer since you had to preorder. I understand i could have waited but its also that fact that they should have told people before
this white one launched that not even 5 days later there would be a deal for the same system.

 

Well this is the first time I actually see someone complain that something they ordered shipped too soon.

Can you return it and reorder after November 2nd? You might have to decide to either have it sooner or have it cheaper I guess.

Yeah everywhere where I live has not been allowed to take anymore pre orders of the Sunset Overdrive bundles for a couple of days now.

 

Don't be sad, you got a white xbox and an awesome game for $400. Still a good deal if you ask me.

 

Where did you order it from? Most reputable places will refund you the difference. Also, if you have the cash to spare, you could order another one at $350 and return the $400 one.

 

Ordered it through amazon but i doubt they will refund me the difference just because the deal ist out yet. Plus the marketing time i guess is random (MS chat person) told me. So idk i just hope enough people complain because its just not right that people
who are the first to get the white xbox do not get the $50 off deal. Like why is that fair. Also its worse for those who preordered it online. Like mine shipped on the 27th and then later that day the deal it announced. So i couldn’t cancel my order. Sounds
like bad timing for the marketing.

I was upset when I realized that I got the digital Day Zero edition of Advanced Warfare and not the digital Deluxe Pro edition of the same game that comes with even more extras and the season pass, but you don't see me complaining about it. For my issue
I chalk it up to bad wording on Xbox Live, but if anything, it's more my fault then theirs since I didn't read the fine print. So, I'm going to suck it up and purchase the additional content I didn't get separately.

In your case, OP, common sense should've told you that the longer you wait, the lower the price goes - this is virtually true of almost every electronic device or piece of virtual entertainment. The fact that Black Friday and Christmas are just around the
corner should further show that deals, sales, and lower prices are coming. You're not getting a bad deal (it's pretty good actually); you're just missing out on a better deal. It happens! Suck it up, chalk it up as a loss, and move on like everyone else does...
I mean seriously, you've already said you can't do anything about it, so what good is complaining going to do? Especially here, where you're most likely going to get flak from others or responses from others who simply don't care.

Of coarse im mad but obviously amazon understand the issue. They emailed me about the issue to EVERYONE that bought the xbox one sunset bundle they we would get a $50 promotional code that we can use on our next order. (because of the promotion)

Obviously they knew of the issue and i didnt even contact amazon. So just sit down and dont reply if your going to be rude. Your not contributing and you know that you would be *** if it happened to you.
