    Pre-ordered Hogwarts legacy however, the game says it is not compatible with Xbox one when I purchased the Xbox one version. Wondering if this is because the game isn’t out yet for Xbox one. any feedback would be appreciated.

    That's correct. The Xbox One edition of Hogwarts Legacy has been pushed back to April 4th, 2023. If it's the Xbox One version, you should be able to play it fine when it's released. For now, you won't be able to install it yet unless you got the Digital Deluxe pre-order for Xbox Series X/S Edition.
