Preorder cancelled - License was not removed from account

Hello together ...

i have the following Problem:

I had preordered Doom via XBox Live and later i cancelled it via XBox Live support and got my money back. But i saw that the license is still on my account. Iam able to download and to start it.

Now im scared for getting banned because stealing games from xbox live marketplace. I contacted the support chat, they told me, i should delete and not reinstall ... in case of playing, there is the possibility to getting banned. Now, in my house are other
people using the xbox ... my girlfriend started installation and started the game a few minutes ... i cant be there every minute to control if nobody uses the game ...

Is there a way to delete this License for doom from my account? I dont want to risk getting banned on xbox live

Downloaded a game and it’s not working

If yes. let me explain the preorders.

When a preorder is done with a credit/debit card the card is not charged till approximately 10 days prior to the game being released. It will allow you to download the game so that you are ready to play it when the game is released and you do not have to
wait for the game to download once its released. But if for some reason when MS tries to take the money off the card and the 10 days prior to release mark and they cant they will cancel your order and take the license away from your account. (the game will
still be downloaded to your console) but when you try and play it because the license was taken away from your account you will get the message that you are seeing.

Now you say that it is NOT in your order history even if you preordered it and it was cancelled it will show in your order history as being cancelled. If it is not in your order history for the account that you are signed into then it was never bought on
that account and you would need to figure out what account it was bought on and sign into that one on your console to play the game.

 

Did I mess up my license transfer?

If you mean you cancelled the License Transfer in the middle process, and asking if you want to use License Transfer again, then you can't. I've cancelled the License Transfer in the middle of the process on my old account, then it said I can do the License
Transfer once again somewhere very far away in the coming 2014.

 

According to the Xbox live Code of Conduct and the agreement you have signed, you are responsible for every action carried out by your account. If you have asked for a refund and you got it the honorable thing to do is to delete the game from your console
and hid it from the list of downloadable games.

With xbox one home with gold you can make accounts for other members of your family and keep your sign in data just to yourself.

 

I know what you mean. But why nobody can remove the license from my account. I want to get sure that i do not get banned without using the game.

Is it such a big problem to remove the license afer a cancellation from preorder? And what if i want to buy the game tomorrow? I am not able to buy it in store, because the store thinks i already paid for it.

There is no way and no reason not to delete the license from my account.

 

That will bring up the question:" Why you asked for a refund in the first place if you are that uncertain about that particular title?"

In my opinion the xbox support should not permit refunds when in the agreement of the game purchase is clearly stated there are no refunds, yet if you feel that you need your game license revoked that badly they are the only ones that can help you with such
an issue.

 

Why i cannot cancel a PREORDER!!!! without this discussion? It is possible, i done it, and it does not work! :/
