Preorder assassins creed Valhalla

So in july of this year i pre ordered assassins creed valhalla, it downloaded to my xbox and it says i own the game. The other day i got an email saying payment failed and that it tried taking money off my card. I thought i bought it back in july since
it says i own it and it downloaded, why is it doing this??

It hasnt shown that its been cancelled. Still says i own it, im just wondering when the next day theyll try to charge my card will be since the game comes out the 9th.

Thank you! I called microsoft and they were no help. They tried charging it on the 3rd, microsoft said theyll try twice before canceling. Do you know when theyd try again?

When you preorder with a credit card or Paypal, you're not charged until within 10 days of the release. If they are unable to charge you at that time, the order is cancelled.
