Well if you don't buy premium you aren't poor, you're just kind of shooting yourself in the foot later on if you opt to buy the maps separately.

if people buy premium they aren't op they just decided to make a single payment rather than a long drawn out series of payments culminating in a larger cost.

I fixed my problem by changing my payment method (despite not having a premium account and therefore not actually needing ANY payment method... But hey, this is Microsoft...) from Paypal to a bank card.
