My brother bought me a premium pass on Battlefield as a gift, he lives in France, and as i live in the US, when I put the code, it says that it can not work in another country than France, and I have to contact the seller, which is directly Microsoft. What
should I do to get another code that works here ? Thanks

My friend has bought a game from US region and sent it to me as a gift but unfortunately i can’t redeem the gift code and it keeps telling me (Contact the seller to get a code that works in your region / This code was purchased in a different region and
cannot be redeemed.) although i tried using the same US region, BTW I've tried all this throw the console but with no success

Every BF3 game comes with a pass, but if you bought it used it doesn't, premium or not. also, if you purchase premium as an add on, to the best of my knowledge it doesn't come with an online pass.

Every BF3 game comes with a pass, but if you bought it used it doesn't, premium or not. also, if you purchase premium as an add on, to the best of my knowledge it doesn't come with an online pass.

Did you end up getting this sorted? I'm having the same issue with a code I gifted to someone in France, I live in the UK so the code I've gifted does not work in France and I had no way of knowing this.

Actually, it's a problem on Microsoft's end, as I bought it on the market place. It is a known issue for players who bought BF4 premium edition, instead of BF4 then the Premium pass (separately).

Battlelog doesn't recognize us as premium member, and it's essentially because of Microsoft.

Xbox uses local currency to represent points or currency to purchase

Even if It recognizes euro prepaid gift cards are region specific

Meaning even if you use a France gift card in a german account it won't work even if they both use euro

Most likely France will use francs anywsays
