    "Premium content is blocked for this profile." while trying to purchase Backward Compatible...


    So, I was trying to get the "Cerberus Network" add-on for Mass Effect 2 on my Xbox One S. I tried to get it on the Xbox marketplace website first, but it just showed "Sorry, This item is not available for purchase
    from this device." So I looked it up online, and found out that many people are suggesting purchasing it from the in-game store, then I tried. But this time, it gave me the message "Premium
    content is blocked for this profile."

    So I looked it up again:

    1. Some are saying that this message occurs because you're using a child account, but I'm not. (Though I wonder if it's because my account used to be a child account, and there're some issues with the conversion process)

    2. I also checked the "Privacy & Online Safety" section in settings, and it's already set to "Adult".

    3. Here're some advice I found online. I tried all of them, but all failed:

    a. Power cycle

    b. Log out and re-download my profile

    c. Clear local Xbox 360 storage

    Hi there

    I maybe wrong but I don't think the cerburus network is available now to buy.

    The cerberus network add on is basically an online pass that EA games use to have years ago but EA got rid of them so that could be why you can not get it.

    Are you able to contact the game makers on their website? It might be worth a try.

    The Cerberus network was made available for free several years back. There was an issue (not sure if it's still ongoing), that the purchases on Xbox were not working on Xbox 360 & other devices. Check the status page to see if it's working, if not
    then that will be why you cannot get the add-on. You also want to make sure you get the add-on from the correct store (Xbox 360) here

    I really don't think it's a server issue, because the only thing that I can't get from the marketplace website is the Cerberus Network. Everything else doesn't have such problem.

    However, in the in-game store, it's not just the Cerberus Network. Everything just says "Premium content is blocked for this profile."

    Premium Content is Blocked for this profile is usually parental settings or under 18 accounts, but it doesn't sound like that's the case on this one... not gonna lie, its confused me a bit. Worth checking on parental settings/account age just in case before
    looking into it further just to get rid of one potential cause.
