Premium content blocked? [Xbox One, BC, MW3]

Hi,

I’m trying to download the free DLC content required to play COD:MW3 multiplayer on my Xbox One using backwards compatibility.

I get the error message “Premium content is blocked for this profile”.

I’ve learnt from previous threads that this could be caused by a child or teen account, however, I checked on account.microsoft.com and my age is correct (1997).

On my Xbox One privacy and online safety settings, i have set everything to allow. I don’t see an option for ‘allow premium content’ though.

Can you please help me solve this issue?

Which free content is it that you're referring to? I believe that some of that content was locked

under the Call of Duty "Elite" subscription, which might be what's causing the issue for you.

Hi Sid,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. This may be due to the content not allowed as backward compatible. Also try updating the profile though the Xbox 360 emulator. Launch a backward compatible game, hit the back and start button together(both
buttons, under the Xbox logo button). This pulls up the Xbox 360 emulator. Go to download profile and enter your credentials, you will still be able to enter it even if the profile shows there.

Here is a post that says you can do it by opening up the 360 menu and downloading your profile. I guess this happens on a lot of Backwards Compatible titles.

A – Yes, Call of Duty Elite Premium members will continue to enjoy all the Call of Duty: MW3 DLC and the full range of Call of Duty Elite Premium services and operations for Call of Duty: MW3 through the terms of their subscription.

Q – If I bought a Call of Duty Elite Premium membership recently, will I get Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC?

A – Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC is not included in the Call of Duty: MW3 Season of Content membership. We’ll be releasing new details soon.

Yes and nothings changed also its on skate 3 for xbox 360 on the one it said premium content is blocked on this profile why?
