Premium and it's content and ALL maps/DLC servers: I don't understand it...

ehh...Don't hate premium...not a fan of the teeny maps, but otherwise it's fine....I dislike DICE in general at this point, not for

premium or this DLC, but for ruining official map rotations, for taking content away...when I bought the game, I could play conquest only on all the maps....I liked that...now if I want CQ only I"m saddled with 4 whole maps.....I like the smaller maps, but
I also like the bigger maps....wanna be able to play them all without having to get myself let alone my party into several servers.....right now my alternative is private servers...what a crapshoot

If they don't get it then it segregates the community more and mess the server filter up some more. Especially if all server owners put them maps in all servers. Then the few non premium members would be having hard time getting into any matches or forced

They could make serious money off that. If they were going to release BC2 maps and the S-Tac, then why not charge for it. 'Course Premium players will get it at a reduced price. After all, they've already paid for what Premium offers - all 5 DLC's for
BF3 for a set price which is lower than buying all DLCs seperately.

These maps and weapons would technically be a sixth DLC so shouldn't come under the Premium package.

Plus, there's that server issue you talk about. I'd be pissed off if I was getting kicked from friends games because they are Premium members and I am not and the next maps just so happens to be Port Valdez.

No such thing as a "premium map" fueld. Buying premium simply included the cost of all the DLC and early access to it. You don't have to be a premium to buy the map packs, and at this stage you wouldn't want to waster your money as there are no more DLC
scheduled, unless you are purchasing the game new, then the premium addition included all dlc.

You don't really need any DLC as all Official Game Modes and Maps only go through those Modes and Maps that match to either the DLC or no DLC. In short, you can play default Conquest/ Rush Maps as long as you like.

As for if you wanted to purchase any DLC I would say just get the Premium and get all the DLC/ Maps/ Game Modes. It will be well worth the price of each individually. Some Game Modes/ Maps are starting to shrink a little depending on the time of day you might
play. For example, fining a Naval Strike Map during the night by next to impossible as the Servers simply don't show up.

Over all, they are all fun in their own way. I would suggest if you are into it and you want to try the DLC's don't pick one over the other. Just get Premium and play them all.

The premium edition is the way to go. The DLC is great. There is one more DLC pack to come out in March as well which will add some new vehicles, maps and weapons.

There is so much content that the game doesn't get boring. Out of all the DLC maps that have come out I only don't like one of them.
