Preferring and avoiding players....

How does this work, compared to 360, where it didn't work at all.....Will it at least show a smiley or frowny face next to their name if they're in a lobby with me? I currently have a PS4 and 360. I need to know, as PS4 doesn't really have this. I am just
getting annoyed with always playing with idiots that I have previously avoided, and I don't want to press the Guide button, and go to Recent Players every time, to see if they're avoided....

Avoiding vs preferring.

Not much you can do.

Avoiding someone on the 360 only lessens the chances of being matched with them,it doesn't mean you will never be matched with them.

It also depends on the amount of players playing that game,the less people playing it then the more likely you are to be matched with them even though they are avoided.

 

Avoiding vs preferring.

I don't think the avoiding or preferring options even do anything. I avoid the hackers on halo reach (that 343 refuses to ban) and I still only find the same people I just avoided. For days to come I constantly only find avoided players and never the preferred
players. Any suggestions?

 

Always worked on Xbox 360 for me, I never got match made into a game with someone I set to avoid once I left the game they were in.
