Predictive text suddenly turned on, xbox one, want it gone & turned off.

Yesterday when sending some random text messages to recent players, I noticed this highly annoying predictive text above whatever I was typing in. Re; In game dashboard chatting using the One controller and the on screen virtual keyboard.

I want this gone please, and there are no settings I can see which will control this. It's very very annoying to see this rudimentary and elementary prediction for what word I may or may not type in next. I'm a literate adult and do not need a made in
China device predicting and suggesting what I should or most likely will type in next. If this downgrade One model simply had a second usb plug in like the superior 360 did, I would still be using a plugged in keyboard instead of wasting time punching in
single letters with the on screen virtual keyboard. But now with the predictive text, I can't even use this. The predictive text showing on screen is a horrendous feature, please it has to go or there has to be an option for the user to choose if they want
this or not. I imagine most people whom have made it past elementary school have no use for this. Can we get a spell checker instead! Cart before the horse.

Please provide an immediate option for me to turn off the predictive text in the One virtual keyboard. By default this should stay off. This was never on before until just recently and I certainly did not want or request this highly annoying predictive
text feature.

Missing Predictive Text on Xbox One S

Maybe someone can help me... I have the opposite. My predictive text and bar suddenly disappeared when I went to use my Xbox One S on-screen keyboard and I would like to have it back... any solutions as to how this happened and can I get it back..

I turned off completely my xbox one, and the problem was gone, before that I turned off the energy saving mode and turned on again

 

Predictive text is only suggesting words...it's not auto populating the text box. You don't have you to use it but you cannot turn it off.

 

No! This is suggestive and it influences what the person typing in thinks about and sees while they are trying to focus on writing a letter.

Your answer is condescending which is a rude approach to take.

This feature was not there mere days ago but now it is. Roll it back, I do not want this.

Both features, auto populate and auto suggest should be manual control feature options. They represent negative value and ruin the user experience as far as I'm concerned. It's lazy incompetent development to force unwanted features on users without giving
them the simple option of turning these features off.

I know how to write comprehensive intelligent messages and I don't need or appreciate predictive text or automatic text population.
