pre-paid region lock

Dear Microsoft,

I am facing a very displeasing customer experience at this moment.

Unknowingly I validated a pre paid card at a different xbox live location to the one I usually used to login. During the pre paid validation procedure this was never alerted nor highlighted though.

Right now I tried to complete a purchase of a value which can only be reached if the money from both regions will be combined. Sadly though when selecting the value from region "a" there is no selection to use the balance money from region "b" but only asking
for a credit card number...

Please either allow to transfer money from region a -> b or enable purchases which can utilise money from different regions.

Cross-store/language play?

Hey there Sir Nessrak.

Cross-region accounts aren't supported and unfortunately pre-paid currency codes from one region won't work in another region.

Is the pre paid code from Turkey too? Prepaid codes are region locked and will only work in there specific regions.

Pre-paid cards have always been region locked junior. Nothing new. Sucks but it is what it is.

It says on his ad they are PAL only ,so i figured that was the case.

I have never used a pre-paid card so i will take your word for it.

Pre-paid cards can be region locked.

A side note, the geograpic location (IP) of the console can also be a part of the validation and might determine if it will work.
