Discus and support Pre paid games in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I pre paid a game with Xbox cards and still had the money after. The game still said I owned it also.     i bought the 25 pound reward card for 1000 gems and i tried to buy 25 pound xbox credit from amazon and from microsoft store and it gets declined now balance says 23.61 and cant even but a 20 pound gift card either case number 1417711363

    In an instance such as this it may take a day or so for the funds to show as being taken from your account. If they don't and if the game is still showing up on your owned list, please contact MS Billing Support and they can assist from there Pre paid games :)

    Yes payment is not collected right away. Developers won't collect until 10 days before the release of the game. You have to make sure you have Microsoft Cash in your account when they decide to take payment or that payment will decline.

    When making a pre order with a card, payment isn't taken at the time only a week (or so) before the games release. With a pre paid card there is no guarantee the money loaded on to the account will still be available when payment is due, so this is likely
    a reason they don't allow pre orders with our paid cards.

    As other have mentioned, use the pre paid card to buy Xbox pre paid credit to last in to your account to make the pre order.

    To check, did you purchase the game through the promotion or did you a redeem a pre-paid code? If you redeemed a pre-paid code I'm afraid you wouldn't be eligible for this offer.
