Can you buy stuff on the xbox store with pre paid cards such as a visa pre paid card? I've tried before and it wouldn't let me, but i dont see why.

Pre paid card

Most prepaid codes are region specific. If you are trying to use it with an account whose region doe not match the region of the card, you will get errors.

Well depends how much in transaction fees you wanna spend

Prepaid visas are like a gun in Russian roulette with only two.people

They work or they dont

80% of the time it won't work

They are meant for one time purchases not online transactions or reoccurring purchases

You have to meet two conditions set by your card.ffirst to be used for online transactions you must register billing info with the correct region so if you aelre buying a us prepaid card you have to be actually in the us or have.a.similar address

Also you.must enable online purchases and reoccurring purchases

Then if all those are OK hope for.the best not all cardssuppoet online services it's more.like buy and hope it works

Its.best to use real cards less transactions and better protectiob

The transaction fees alone make it not worth it

You don't get transaction fees

If you are worried about subscriptions here something there is a reason why they don't work well

Subscriptions are reoccurring payments as implied by the definition of subsxriptions

If you only use a prepaid card and forget to turn off autorenewal and there isn't enough for.the following month you get suspended for payment options. Till you pay the amount hence why prepaid cards are ripsoffs

a reason they don't allow pre orders with our paid cards.

As other have mentioned, use the pre paid card to buy Xbox pre paid credit to last in to your account to make the pre order.

Do you have a full function debit card or is it a pre-paid card you have to refill? Pre-paid cards I do not believe are supported for subscriptions.

Pre-Paid Cards will stack up to 3 Years of Service (total). This can be done in any increment of Pre-Paid Cards, with the exception of Trial Cards (48 hours and 14 Day).

There is a simple solution to this issue if you do not wish to use a credit/debit card. Buy pre-paid cards. That way you won't have to worry about being charged at the end of each subscription term. You would just have to remember
to buy another pre-paid card.

FYI, pre-paid cards can be stacked up to 36 months.
