It says that an error occurred and to redeem it ... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It pops up with XBOS-3014 7ec8da5e-0d83-401c-aa43-850c8c57061a.     It pops up with

    XBOS-3014

    7ec8da5e-0d83-401c-aa43-850c8c57061a.

    The problem with that error code is that Xbox Support doesn't have it in the list of error codes. I guess it could be something else, so I was looking for help with it because I paid for a year of gold and I don't want it wasted.

    and when i try to redeem the pre paid card online i get this error:

    i also just tried to redeem the card on the xbox it self but i says its no longer valid. WTF. - so i cant get an error code for that

    When i tried using a pre paid card it would bring up an error box saying

    Status Code: 80169D94

    "An error has occurred during the transaction. Please try again later".

    My friends bought cards with me and their worked buy not mine. Help please?!

    The exact same thing happened to me. I brought two one-year Xbox Live Gold Prepaid Cards, but both of them have the same message pop up.

    Thanks for making your post, just to clarify is the issue occuring with a Pre-Paid Microsoft Currency/ Xbox Live Gold gift card? Or a pre-paid Visa debit card?

    What types of cards are they? If they are pre-paid credit cards then that may be why they cannot work as most pre-paid cards are not compatible with the Live service.
