pre paid Card from a Store

I have purchased a physical XBOX Game Pass / 3 months card from a Store .. We have a XBOX 360 and I was told that this is only for XBOX ONE. I thought I was buying LIVE.. grabbed wrong card. What can I do to get it exchanged or does it work on 360??

Was the pre-paid card activated by the store you bought it from?

I am afraid you will have to take it back to the store, have you scratched the foil off to reveal the digits? If you have they wont swap it for you as they will think you have used the card.

Game Pass is only available for the One. You would have to try exchanging the card at the retailer you purchased it from.

Unfortunately the Xbox Game Pass subscription is only going to work directly on the Xbox One.

I would advise that you reach out to the retail store where you purchased the car to see if they are able to exchange it for you.
