Pre owned Xbox One, can't buy games.

Can't you just buy a pre-owned XBOX cheap just to tide you over until next gen?

Was the game brand new or pre owned? If it was a pre owned game then it might have previously had a code for the dlc included in the case which now might not be with it as it has been used.

Its brand new buy it today, the one that says Xbox 360 and Xbox One on it, it has 2 disc

But if we all bought pre-owned then the games wouldn't be pre-owned because someone would have had to buy the game new first and then trade it in but then we would not all be buying preowned and oh god my head hurts.

There's nothing wrong with buying pre-owned. Game releases make most of their revenue in the initial week of release before pre-owned copies are easily available. Devs can include online passes as a sort of incentive but this shaming of people buying pre-owned
is absurd.

Just a hunch, but in what condition are your "pre-owned" games? Sounds to me like they're not being recognized (possibly due to scratches or other read-only errors), unlike your "new" games. How many pre-owned games did you buy? And how many were tried on
another console? Have you tried cleaning the discs? If this fails, try buying a *new* copy of one of those pre-owned titles, and if it works just fine on your console then you'll know it was prolly a fault of buying the pre-owned stuff (ie, somebody else's
rejects).

That is not true, you will be able to play pre-owned/used games. I strongly reccomend you buy the Xbox One as it is much superior than the PS4.
