Discus and support Pre-orders in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; Please am I reading the FAQ's correctly and pre orders are exempt from my vip Privileges. if this is so I will not be getting games this way anymore....     Please am I reading the FAQ's correctly and pre orders are exempt from my vip Privileges. if this is so I will not be getting games this way anymore. only did it as they said it would boost my star rank could have got a better deal else ware

    VGCharts: Playstation 4 vs Xbox One pre-orders in the US

    "In the latest pre-order data the PlayStation 4 has gained 125,000 pre-orders for a total of 725,000 in the US. The Xbox One has managed to gain ground on the PlayStation 4 as it gained 175,000 pre-orders during the same time
    frame. The Xbox One currently sits at 525,000 pre-orders."

    We all knew that the PS4 pre-orders were outselling Xbox One pre-orders, but what I found interesting was that the Xbox One gained more pre-orders during the same time frame.

    That is correct. Preorders are not eligible for VIP.

    Well that sucks.

    it is what it is but still feel the rewards program is falling short imo.

    In case of an pre-order, any and ALL pre-order bonuses/DLCs will be credited only to the account the pre-order was made to.

    It takes 96 hours for pre-orders to reflect on the website, and you must pre-order 3 titles to be eligible for the new promotion. Subsequently, you had to have pre-ordered the games during the promotional period in order to be eligible for the reward. If
    you pre-ordered prior to January 1st, 2017 then the pre-order is not eligible for the current promotion.

    Hello Thomas,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on a pre-order. With a game pre-order all you need to do is cancel the current pre-order and then pre-order again with the correct card. There is no way of modifying a pre-order once it is
    made.

    do you get the perorder bonuses or otehr exclusive for xbox one backwards games if you had them before

    You only get pre order bonuses by pre-ordering certain games. By pre-order I mean ordering them before the game is released. It is not possible to pre-order a game that is already out which would be the case for all backwards compatible games.
