Pre orders are a nightmare

As I'm sure you are all aware, "Cuphead" was finally released a few days ago and I, like many people, was eager to play it. Or I was until I checked the Microsoft store on my Xbox One and it showed that I had to buy the game. Now this wouldn't be a problem
if I had not already pre ordered the game on the 21st of June at full price. I checked my wallet and only the change remained of my purchase, my account states that I did add money to my account on the 21st, which i soon spent on
pre ordering the game, but it does not mention "Cuphead" anywhere. So that money went somewhere and I have no idea where, I assume into the void of Microsoft's sh***y digital purchasing system. Any help?

Quantum Break Pre-Order never received Alan Wake American Nightmare and Quantum Break PC code

Hey there Nightstorm80.

As Mister Beep mentioned this offer was only eligible for users who pre-ordred digitally. You should have received Alan Wake with Quantum Break, but the Windows 10 version and American Nightmare are only offered for digital pre-orders. Thanks for your understanding!

American Nightmare being only for digital pre-orders is completely and utterly false. I would recommend you contact your retailer for help on the matter.

I was going to walk out of that store with a next gen console. I hadn't planned on getting a ps4 at all because I hated the ps3. Last week though my buddy picked one up and I actually really enjoyed it. If bestbuy couldn't get me the console I ordered I
was going to pick up another one. My local gamestop had a few left in stock.

weird..... I had the total opposite... I pre-ordered day one.. first card was declined due to the fact I moved and the card that was on file and has a different zip code... got an email the next day telling me so... I called them... lady on phone cancelled
the initial sale... and retook my info to place another pre order.. problem was the card was declined once and I was unable to use that particular card...so not to loose out.. I used another card of mine... order went through... got the emails... walked into
today at 12:15PM walked out at 12:18 PM with bag full of XB1'ness

I get the rant I really do.

The only thing I don't understand is what you expect MS to do about it.

The whole issue was caused by Best Buy not MS.

If it's just a place to vent then I'm all for that cos some things in this world really take the p*** but just don't expect MS to be able to fix a problem they havent caused.
