Pre-ordering questions (Madden 19)

I am trying to pre-order Madden 19 Hall of Fame Edition. I know that I can get a discount with the pre-order and I can even get a larger discount if I subscribe to EA Access. I want to use a gift card I have for the order. I want to enter the information through
my Xbox (it is cheaper). Here are my questions:

Do I need to subscribe to EA Access before ordering the game in order to get the additional discount?

When I order the game, can I subscribe to EA Access in that same order?

How long must I subscribe to EA Access in order to get the additional discount on Madden 19? (1 month? 12 months?)

If I pre-order through my Xbox, will the game still be delivered as a hard copy (not digital)? I want it to be a hard copy.

If someone could answer these questions I would appreciate it.

I pre ordered madden 17 and didn't recieve my 1 month EA access code

This answers my question to a certain extent. Hopefully the code comes within 7-10 days of me pre-ordering madden 17. If the code comes within that time then I can play the madden demo on the 18th and not have to wait until madden 17 comes out to get my
code. I've bought every madden game since Madden 12. I am not planning on canceling my pre-order at any time.

 

Yes you would need to prescribe to EA Access before preordering the game in order to get the additional discount. I don't think you can do both in 1 transaction, but you would want to get EA Access first anyway to make sure you get the discount.

It doesn't matter how long you subscribe to EA Access to get the discount.

If you preorder through Xbox, it will be a digital copy. The EA Access discount would only apply to a digital copy as well. You would have to pre-order through microsoftstore.com or another retailer in order to get a physical disc.

Yes. Normally purchasing games from games manufacturer directly and enjoying their discount can only have the digital copies of games. If you are a die-hard fan of physical copies of games (me too), you must stick to retail stores.
