Pre-ordering FIFA 19

I pre-ordered FIFA 19 on 8/30, I assumed the payment went through right away considering my Xbox One started downloading FIFA 19 right away. Last week I received a message from Xbox Live saying they had a problem completing my order of FIFA 19 and to visit
account.microsoft.com/orders to update my payment method in order to prevent my purchase from being canceled. I went onto the site and unselected my debit card and selected it again since it is the only payment method I use. I had noticed a few days later
that I had been charged for the game. Could I have possibly been charged twice for the game?

When pre ordering games through Xbox store you will be charged up to 10 days prior to the games release. Currently, Fifa 19 release date is 9/25/18.

Why can’t I pre order FIFA 19 for Xbox 360?

At E3 they said FIFA 19 will be available for last gen consoles but I can’t seem to find anywhere to pre order it

With pre-orders, you usually get charged 7-10 days before the game is released as long as there are no

issues with your payment option..

Feel free to contact
Xbox Live Support (Billing)


to speak with or connect to a live agent so they can get into your account and make sure everything is up to date

and confirm whether the purchase went through yet or not. Also, feel free to contact you bank to see if you were double

charged.

When you pre-order a game using a credit card or Paypal, you're not charged until about 10 days before the game releases. So you shouldn't have been charged twice. You can double check at Sign in to your Microsoft account though.
